Telefunken released the American Capitol-recordings from 1946 till 1956, when Telefunken gave the reproduction-rights to E-M-I Germany. The reproduction-rights for RCA-Victor recordings went away from EMI-Germany to Telefunken. That made Elvis Presley pressings possible in Germany in the year 1956 with the black-silver Label. The older RCA-Victor recordings had been released in Germany through Electrola before Telefunken got the rights.
