78 RPM Record
Notes Test pressing of bird calls. Track 1 is a recording of a captive nightingale and track 2 is a recording of a cuckoo in outside surroundings. There is some illegible German writing on the label. It's possible the birds could have come from the aviary of Carl Reich in Germany. His birds were used on some UK HMV 78s, the first one being "Record Made By A Captive Nightingale" in 1910.
