Notes

The version of "High Noon" issued a couple of weeks prior to this issue was the same as the US issue i.e. the Capitol studios version.

This was shelved in favour of this version, leased from the film studios. This version was noted on the label "as sung in the film".

This, the movie version, was only available in the UK.

Odd that this version is more expensive than the other version!
Presumably when the film version was issued in the UK Capitol would have stopped making the other version, thus making it less widespread at least in the UK.
I can only assume that it's more expensive because people from around the world (especially the USA) want the film version, which wasn't issued in their own countries.

I had been confused as to how there are two releases of this song on the same label at the same time.
But after reading the notes here it is now all clear.
