Added some improvements to my previous scans - These are without the "SALVAGE" stamp

@MrPasta.Hi,if i may pass on a tip?.I have found that scanners vary in their factory settings,i.e,i have had 8 different canon scanners up until this one,5 of one model and 3 of another, and have found that even though they were the same model/s,and therefore one would expect standard settings, they all differed in fact, some scanning darker, some lighter, some with differing levels of saturation etc, each needing a little "tweak" to convey a more accurate result. This current scanner for-instance,scans slightly darker than the previous one,so the "tweak" on this one is to scan, then lighten, then go into "Adjustments" then "Hue/Saturation" and increase the saturation by a few increments, until it looks more like the original.
Hope that's of some help.
(I should perhaps add that of course, what works for one, will not necessarily work for the other, and that each scanner will be different,it's a matter of finding the right "tweak":)

Yes, I'm using a Canon scanner and then Paint.net to crop/straighten etc. I can't see a setting for Background surpression. Is that in the scanner settings?

Your images seem to come out too dark, but simply making them lighter doesn't fix the color either because then the white script gets glaringly white. Are you taking your images with a scanner? What kind? I know I have to turn off Auto Background Suppression on mine and then lighten the exposure a bit when I edit the scan on Photoshop.

 Labels added.

I can never get the mauve Capitols to come out looking the right colour - any tips.

Also, anyone know what the "SALVAGE" stamped into the B-side label refers to?
