With a nod to Whyperion, scans of less damaged labels added also showing the France Melodie Paris logo.

Whyperion's sleeve featuring the 1940 Helsinki Olympics would be paired with this Columbia record, I guess. As Tokyo decided to cancel their Olympics, and Helsinki was selected from its 2nd place in 1938, the sleeve probably dates from 1938-39. In early 1940 it was already obvious that Helsinki - due to the war - had to be postponed as well, or so I've heard.

Any idea why what I think is a UK disc has a France Melodie Paris Copyrights panel ?

My Columbia one of course has the dots.

D.B. 2197

I've found an example of the sleeve my copy has been in since 1974 (well, I might have had "Putting on the Ritz" in it at some time instead).

Since the invention of the internet I have found it's for the 1940 Olympic Games that were due to be held in Helsinki, and presumably would have been printed around 1937/1938? But why 'New Process' as that seems to indicate earlier in the 1930s? My own sleeve has split side and bottom which I have taped up with sellotape.

Record arrangement slightly differs in Frank's tone compared to the film.
