make1968 28th Dec 2017		Whyperion's sleeve featuring the 1940 Helsinki Olympics would be paired with this Columbia record, I guess. As Tokyo decided to cancel their Olympics, and Helsinki was selected from its 2nd place in 1938, the sleeve probably dates from 1938-39. In early 1940 it was already obvious that Helsinki - due to the war - had to be postponed as well, or so I've heard.

Whyperion SUBS 8th Feb 2013		My Columbia one of course has the dots. D.B. 2197 I've found an example of the sleeve my copy has been in since 1974 (well, I might have had "Putting on the Ritz" in it at some time instead). Since the invention of the internet I have found it's for the 1940 Olympic Games that were due to be held in Helsinki, and presumably would have been printed around 1937/1938? But why 'New Process' as that seems to indicate earlier in the 1930s? My own sleeve has split side and bottom which I have taped up with sellotape.
