scrough 20th Mar 2018		Thanks for that label. RT is Oct 1955 - June 1957. Please can you check the other side of this disc and tell us if it has any stamps.



Larden ● 20th Mar 2018		Added a label with an R - T Stamp in the middle, maybe someone knows wich release this is then?



scrough 20th Mar 2018		The second letter 'L' in the prefix suggests a Portuguese series (see ML series listed here). It would be interesting to establish if other foreign series pressings made in England (examples see here and here) were forced to have tax codes impressed at stamping. But both Portuguese discs only seem to have an 'N' stamp - and the tax stamp was 'NT'.



xiphophilos 19th Mar 2018		The N purchase tax code was in force in the UK from April 1953-Oct. 1955, so that would fit a Nov. 1953 release date as well. Just like Larden, I now wonder if this and the second DL-prefix Columbia that we have in the database are Portuguese releases at all. "Made in England" alone would not be decisive, but the fact that there is a UK tax code imprinted only makes sense if the record was also sold in the UK.
