scrough 25th Oct 2018		The second letter in many Columbia cat number prefixes is a 'country' or 'region' code. See this list from 1951.



ChristopherRobin 25th Oct 2018		From what I can work out the DL series was made in England for the Portuguese market. The song was recorded in 1929, so the early number and the look of the label make me think it was released in 1930, when Columbia UK started it's new numbering system. It could possibly be 1931. If anybody has any more information, it would be much appreciated.
