xiphophilos 15th Sep 2019		A side: San Francisco, open your golden gate! You let no stranger wait outside your door. San Francisco, here is your wanderin' one Saying I'll wander no more. Other places only make me love you best, Tell me you're the heart of all the golden west. San Francisco, welcome me home again, I'm coming home to go roaming no more. Wonderful tenor sax solo by Bud Freeman after Edythe Wright's beautiful vocals, followed by Max Kaminsky on trumpet, another bit by Freeman, Joe Dixon on clarinet, and finally Tommy Dorsey on trombone. They are all superb.
xiphophilos 15th Sep 2019		B side: A nice homage to Popeye and his spinach. Nothing can beat Shirley Temple's rebellion against the "Spinach Song", though. (from the movie "Poor Little Rich Girl" [1936])
