 The original 1939 release would not have a British purchase tax code on them because these were only introduced on 12 October 1940. The CT code was a Decca idiosyncrasy (everybody else used DT) in force from 9 April 1948 to 29 December 1950. So the labels without the tax code are the original labels whereas the ones with the CT code are 1948-1950 represses.

 Yay.. at last a bit of common regarding the change to the images... still not convinced the second set are even UK tho
