 It could be due to multiple factors. Some scanners change the hue slightly, storage issues, i.e., heat, damp, etc. Also the 78's were reissued many times as they were often available for order by customers for decades.

 Redpunk, my label seems a darker blue. Either there were hue changes over time, or were different batches distributed to different dealer areas (some labels seem similar in the North West, others in London/SE)?
