 Could this be the earliest non-returnable record?
No, because it was returnable - and valued at one third of the price of a new record when a new one was purchased. And then back into the melting pot!

 The label shows the composer as Squire who actually composed "The Jolly Sailor." The composer for this song, "Four Jolly Sailormen," is Edward German.
