 Eddie's second release surely ? Twenty Flight Rock had a catalogue number of HL 8386 and of course was issued to tie in with the release of "The Girl Cant Help It " in early 1957. My copy is on a 45.

 Strange, I'd never realized this was the first by Eddie issued in the UK - but I was only on the fringe of things back then. I heard a lot of skiffle then and really well known R&R. I really got into it by the end of the year. I'll see if the Johnny Dee version came out at the time of US issue.

A few months back, I saw some promising-looking London 78s jutting out of a box marked 50p each in a junk shop. Unfortunately, on further inspection, they were all cracked or missing chunks of the playing surface. The kicker? The very last title I saw as I finished flicking through, ‘Ain’t that a Shame’ by Fats Domino!
