xiphophilos 17th Nov 2018		Victor did produce Japanese-language records with Japanese titles for the Japanese-American immigrant market. But there was no need to produce two different versions of English-language pop music, like this Fats Waller record. No, as the company name at the bottom [written left to right, as usual before WW2] shows, this is a product of Nippon Victor Chikuonki K.K. (日本ビクター蓄音器株式會社, Victor Talking Machine Co. of Japan, Ltd.), the Japanese branch of the American Victor Talking Machine Co., founded in 1927.
