xiphophilos 11th Oct 2020		Pinchin Johnson's Witley Court Music Box was a Surrey-based dance band consisting of employees of the Pinchin Johnson factory. In May / June 1941 and then again in September 1941, they recorded 17 titles with famed French violinist Stéphane Grappelli that were only issued on these privately produced and distributed records in support of Pinchin Johnson's Spitfire Fund (money raised to build more Spitfire airplanes to defend against Hitler's bombing campaign). Really a neat find!
