| | scrough shared the following info:
"The CLPGS Vocalion book/data CD doesn't have any dates for that record, but lists KA12001 (matrix M-0405X/0406X, so recorded approx. May/June 1927) as released 1927.
In terms of matrix, M-0124 & M-0125 are listed as recorded c.17 Nov 1926, the next known (M-0139 & M-140) are c. 26 Nov. 1926."
I've updated this entry accordingly. |

| | The Vocalion recording ledgers have not survived, Annual Catalogues and Monthly Bulletins resident in the British Library have been used to indicate date of issue by Vocalion.
The earliest Olga Haley recordings start in December 1923, the last is 1927, month unknown.
Olga had a long recording career starting with HMV in 1918 until 1921. After her Vocalion stint she went on to record electrics for Parlophone in 1931, there is a Columbia recording of Delius's "Songs of sunset" and some radio captures in the Leech Collection 1935 - 38
I found RS42!

| | I think the KA series may have been introduced in 1928. |

| | Thanks Bob & JLC, I have RS42 (when I can find it) but I obviously did not read it properly when I got it. I wrote an article on Olga Haley for TRC back in June 2014, with what I thought was a complete discography. Shows how wrong you can be!
All her known recordings were put onto 3 CDs however quite a few tracks are still under Composer or Arranger copyright.

| | Information about this record has been made available through CLPGS's Vocalion Reference Series book RS42, which includes a huge database with matrix numbers, etc.
However, the matrix information for this record has, for some reason, been missed. |

| | If you left click on the image it will get bigger. I believe that the matrix #'s are upside down, just to the right of the catalogue #.
A side matrix # would be M0125 and the B side matrix # would be M0126 . |

| | Vocalion only issued this record in Australia. The three tracks listed were not issued in the UK and are unknown here (UK).
Could someone please tell me the Matrix number!
I have noted the record number.
