I didnt think Diamond Stylus (I have on loan a 1970s Garrod set up for 4 speeds) I thought sapphire at best , or is it the dia that is important, microgroove / stereo discs need the smaller dia diamond or sapphire stylus, i have always (in the absence of a steel needle wind up unit) used Sapphires in the Green side of the flip over per the instructions of the day (1957) Maybe the 4 speed of the day tracked too heavy
I've got a copy so it can't be rare :-)
Don't play it unless you have a decent lightweight moving coil pickup with a diamond stylus, in which case you can play it as much as you like without damage (to the record that is, the stylus will wear though)
looks like it from Jules's other entry with the cover. This is the B-side here of the 5th disc? Pt 9 would be the A?
One of the problems 78cat might have in the future is where contributors pick up a 78 singularly where it should be part of an album. Part of the trouble with buying 78 records these days anyway.
