Swedish version of the classic (I presume because it was found in Sweden). Artist credited as Billy Haley. I haven't added many 78s, so mods please make any corrections that are needed.
Added the 1st issue of this record. Not in great condition but it will surely do until a better one is added. Later pressings had a different sleeve. My copy of this is borderline VG but it plays GREAT. My early US jazz records all seem to play well no matter the condition, they knew how to do a quality pressing.
I went to this gig last night and the musicianship was excellent by all parties but... I do think that Warren Haynes seems to me to be doing what Gary Moore did in the '80s - he is starting to play the guitar hero on every track. I also noticed that there seems to be a trend in the music of false ends. They frequently built to a crescendo, with bass lines that signalled a conclusion only for them to continue.
Apart from that, a good show.
PS. One thing that amused me no end was that I stood next to the sound and lighting engineers and could see them at work. I do like to see the back of house stuff so did watch quite a bit of what they did. I have to say, the sound engineer seemed to spend more time looking at Facebook and sending emails that twiddling with the sound. Looks like he got it nailed down at the sound check!
