 In fact, the absence of any purchase tax code on 414217 and 448397 makes me wonder if they are truly British releases.

I think these must be British issues, because as far as I've seen, London issues intended for North America didn't use the L. prefix on the catalogue number, nor show publishers' logos.

 596468/596469 must also be UK issues because the labels list the UK purchase tax code "+IP" (30 Dec 1950-Apr. 1953), which wouldn't make sense on a record sold outside the UK.

In fact, the absence of any purchase tax code on 414217 and 448397 makes me wonder if they are truly British releases.
