DeweyGill SUBS 12th Sep 2024		“The Big Broadcast Of 1938” starred W.C. Fields, Bob Hope in his film debut, Dorothy Lamour, Martha Raye, Shirley Ross, Tito Guizar, Kirsten Flagstad, as well as Shep Fields and His Rippling Rhythm. Shep though, did not perform either of these songs in the film, instead performed “This Little Ripple Had Rhythm” to an interactive cartoon backdrop. In the film Bob Hope and Shirley Ross sang “Thanks For The Memory” and Martha Raye sang “Mama, That Moon Is Here Again.” Classic stuff, Fields at his absolute best, and plays a dual role.
