rhythmdog 6th Sep 2022		Firstly: "Rock" has Δ 6162, "Love": Δ 6164. Αlthough it is rare to find an r&b vocal group recording that comes from Alabama, the label owner, Peter Doraine, had previously been involved in the Allen label in NYC (where the 5 Willows put out their first record) before relocating to Birmingham, Alabama. He was also connected to the Vulcan label (not yet documented here), another Alabama label where the Five Owls cut the immortal "I Like Moonshine"...
