I was aware of what you're telling me, but somehow I read the recording date as May 19, not Mar. 19, and I thought it can't have been released in the same month four days before it was recorded. Clearly, I should have gone to bed a bit earlier.

Although it is in the "Advance Record Bulletins for June, 1927" of Talking Machine World, at a closer look it reads "May 19 Releases" for this record (don't take the "Advance" too seriously, xiphophilos - I've already told you ...).

I've corrected it like that and edited the notes accordingly.

Allan Sutton's Pseudonyms On American records 1892-1942 advises that the Colonial Club Orchestra was usually Louis Katzman's Ambassadors, but lists several exceptions, this disc not being among them. Rust's American Dance Band Discography partly agrees with Sutton, but takes the position that all Brunswicks using the Colonial Club Orchestra name are by Bob Haring AHO. You will therefore find this disc listed in Bob Haring's chapter. Rust identifies the vocalist on these tracks as Vaughn DeLeath.

Based on the above recording date and information submitted with surrounding numbers, I have filled in the year of release. I would judge the most likely release months to be April and May, but there is not much in the way of monthly release information for 1927 Brunswicks in the database currently to make that more than a guess.
