xiphophilos 6th Mar 2017		"Blues For Fowler" is dedicated to clarinetist Bob Fowler, who died young in a car accident in 1946 (source). The Wildcats' first Commodore recording session is reviewed here. "The Record Changer" May 1948, pp. 8-9, devoted an entire two-page spread on them.
