fixbutte 27th Jan 2016		Mario Carta and Enrico Cabiati were two Italian-born pianists who made twin piano recordings in Cuba in the 1950s for the Panart label. Eight of their recordings with popular Cuban/Latin American tunes were licensed to King, who would release them alternatively on four singles (this one was the first), two EPs and one 10" LP (Tropicana, King 295-98). The Tropical LP was also released in Cuba in 1955 on Panart (LP-317). Photos and short bios of the artists could be found on the back cover of another Panart LP of the time (Recital A Dos Pianos, LP-309) and have been uploaded here for your information.
