Sherman & K. Nauck, "Note the Notes," page 35, combined with https://www.friktech.com/labels/ColumbiaLabelography.pdf (friktech doesn't distinguish between this style with glossy red paper vs. matte red paper, which was used between 1950 and Dec. 1952).
