xiphophilos 17th Feb 2018		The problem is that Billboard's Nov. 26, 1955 issue on page 37 contains an Epic Records ad for a Roy Hamilton release. You must have entered the page number incorrectly, but I can't find the correct one.



LaurenceD SUBS 16th Feb 2018		RD, I had entered that date for that 45 as this is the release date that was listed in the booklet provided with the Legend and the Legacy box set. The booklet does not make a distinction between release dates for 78 rpm versus 45 rpm issues. I don't know whether that booklet was incorrect, or if Billboard received an advance copy prior to the 'official' release. The Nov 26, 1955 Billboard ad on page 37 suggests that "Texas Lady" was Capitol's designated top side.



RecordDragon 16th Feb 2018		45 RPM release has "Alabamy Bound" as the B-side and a date of 5 Dec 1955. Which entry is correct?
