78 RPM Record
Notes First pressings with "PRICE 75c" indication on labels probably came out between late October and mid December 1923. Repressings without price indication had artist name spelled "Norfolk Jazz Quartette" and B-side title "Quartette Blues". "Quartette" version advertised in the March 1924 issue of The Crisis and advertised together with Ma Rainey's first record (probably in the Chicago Defender on February 2, 1924). Images
