Decca's Slim Green is also on YouTube, and though his records were released in the Race Series, they are more jazz than blues indeed.

Rust's Jazz Records doesn't have the real name for the Slim Green on Decca. But, it does credit him as a vocalist/guitarist. He had eight issued titles, and one unissued title. The Slim Green on this record was still recording in the 1970's with some help from Johnny Otis and his son Shuggie.

You're right, Mike Gann. Although I doubt that the Slim Green who recorded for Decca in 1935 and 1936 was actually a "jazz singer and guitarist" as they say on Discogs, he cannot be the artist here because he had died before mid-1938, as Shorty Bob Parker certified in his song "Death Of Slim Green", recorded on 6 June 1938.

I've edited the artist on this record, as it appears in the discography of postwar blues guitarist Norman "Slim" Green, and not Junior Hampton. I've also added recording details to the notes.
