In order to underline Tailspin's assumption of an album originally sold empty, I've added a cover image of the aforementioned OKeh album version that I once found on the web. This was probably the original version, sold earliest in 1940, when Columbia replaced the Vocalion label with OKeh, or in the following years before 1946. As on the record labels, the Columbia "notes and mic" logo is distinctly placed under the OKeh logo.
As I have no idea in which year it was actually issued and no cat# or content are available, I refrain from making an extra entry for it.
Here's another Columbia 4-record album set as submitted by 78-Ron, of which I created an extra entry, with the album cover and the labels of the individual discs. It seems, however, that the content of this album was not pre-defined as there is no catalog number and no reference to the individual records on the album cover, and there is no indication of the album on the record labels either, all in sharp contrast to the Bob Wills Round Up album released in May 1947 (Columbia C-128). So I guess it was rather a collector's album of alternating Bob Wills discs which were reissued in vast numbers by Columbia in 1946/47.
