Notes 9 1/2 inch Pseudonym for Elsie Carlisle, as this is even more risqué than the version she recorded under her proper name for Dominion Records. Even the milder version recorded for Dominion was not acceptable to any of the major labels. N.B.: The name "Filmophone" does not allude to movies, but to the thin, bendy material the records were made from (similar to Durium). Recorded London, c. November 1931.(source) Images
