fixbutte 2nd Nov 2021		Tony Russell's Country Music Records (2004), as mentioned by han enderman, also gives Atlanta, GA, as the recording place (date "c. June 14, 1923") for these two sides, the first ever recorded by Fiddlin' John Carson.

fixbutte 2nd Nov 2021		Apparently not recorded in New York, see OKeh 8079 with the list of OKeh's June 1923 location recordings in Atlanta, GA. Not released in July 1923 either but apparently in September 1923, see Talking Machine World, September 15, 1923, page 187, where also three other records with Atlanta location recordings are listed (by Warner's Seven Aces, Morehouse College Quartet and Fulcher's Novelty Orchestra).
