fixbutte 24th Jun 2020		The usual delay between the release of a record and its review in the trade magazines in the early 1950s suggests a July 1954 release for this one which was reviewed in the August 7, 1954 issue of Billboard. Strangely, it was reviewed another month later in Cash Box. Anyway, Trumpet no. 215 came out several months after no. 216.

mickey rat 25th Jan 2013		As usual I agree with Bill. Trumpet was a great little label. Blues Records Vol.2 has Elmore James guitar on Side 1.



bill mann 25th Jan 2013		I think Sonny Boy's best sides were cut for Trumpet, I like 'em better than the Checker stuff a few years later, and they're pretty damn good also.
