DeweyGill SUBS 9th Sep 2024		Chick Bullock along with a few other White singers ended up as vocalists on Black sessions during the height of the depression, no doubt to help boost sales. Some of these retrospectively brought poor results, but on “Sugar Blues” Chick sounds quite at home, without using any vocal inflection one way or the other. Great side, probably my favorite version of the Williams tune.
