Notes

Recorded December 16, 1948 at either WBAP Studios, 601 Main St., Dallas, Texas; or at Clifford Herring Sound Studio, 1705 W 7th St., Ft. Worth, Texas; or at Sellers Studio, 905 Main St., Dallas, Texas

Rosa Lee Carter Karnes, soprano vocal; Effie Juanita Anna Carter, alto vocal; David P. "Dad" Carter, tenor vocal; Ernest Jim Carter, bass vocal, guitar

Since the Columbia label is a promo, and the retail is in the Columbia Sacred Series, I'm not sure if there was a regular red label retail version; split them into both series if desired

Added red label retail images; also issued on the purple Sacred Series label with same catalog number

@ Mike Gann - I have added a separate entry for the purple Columbia Sacred Series label, so the Sacred Series images here can be deleted - somehow I've managed to acquire all 3 label versions over the years!

@ historyofcountrymusic: Your Columbia Sacred Series label images need their own entry.
