 Jan Rubini's accompanist is called Vasili Ilster, cf. the review of their December 1946 performance in Melbourne, Australia. This record is probably also from 1946. The song "I Hear You Calling Me" was Jan Rubini's theme song, which he performed regularly from at least 1919 (source).

 Violinist Jan Rubini introduces each tune with a short monologue. In the first intro, he also introduces his piano accompanist. I can't quite make out the name, which sounds like "Vasily Gilsa". BTW Jan Rubini is the father of (composer/arranger/keyboardist) Michel Rubini.
