Notes A one-off, a (nearly) complete broadcast from the Casani Club in September 1934, recorded off air - it was broadcast on the BBC London National service 5:15 - 6:00 pm. Introduced by Harry Bentley, who also takes the vocals with Phyllis Robbins and a guest spot by Wilda [?]Ganahow. It concludes with an Octorimba solo by Tommy Blades "the first time featured in this country". Discs are Metal Direct Cut. probably for one or more band leaders or members use. probably not by the BBC. Disc 5 is missing This is best described as a box set each disc side is strictly 2min 50seconds and due to recording (two units used) have come out in "autochanger" format (sort of) so sides physically 1-3, 2-4 5-7 6-8 9-11 10-12 13-15 14-16 17 Comments and Reviews
