Mike Gann 16th Sep 2022		I prefer Dates of issue or pressings rather than recording date. November, 1933 is the release date for the ARC copies. I have a paperback copy of the Russell discography if I can't find the information on the internet.

And what xiphophilos and I keep saying is that you don't use ODP for release dates." my other issues came from Country Music Records A Discography, 1921 - 1942 By Tony Russell should be a free pdf somewhere on the web or email me if you need it I prefer Dates of issue or pressings rather than recording date.

I believe music should be free. But you should buy the vinyl. But everybody has there own believes. I follow her site as the 78rpm have been cleaned up a bit less hiss & pops. But at least give credit to where its come from. My own blog is full of music found on the web, but its free.



xiphophilos 16th Sep 2022		Actually, our site has been used for soliciting donations only since April 2022. So we are talking only about 300 additional solicitation videos.

I just replaced 11 videos with links to the archive.org pages from where both the images and the sound files were taken. Only 1,300 more to go. Given the speed with which he enters them, the amount of donations coming in must be worth it.

Hankfan's Discogs avatar starts with the male name Ronald (on our site it's Ron), and that made me think I was talking about a he. So did Hankfan's Youtube videos ... Do you have any info I don't have, Apes Ville, that makes you think Hankfan is a she? xiphophilos 15th Sep 2022		This is indeed another example where Tony Russell's Country Discography lists different recording dates than the 78discography, and the release date 1933 made no sense because nearby catalog numbers were released in April 1934, just as Mike has now corrected it.
