Scheduled for release on Beacon 101, original cat# overstamped on the labels of the first pressing.
From the biography The Melody Man: Joe Davis and the New York Music Scene, 1916-1978 by Bruce Bastin:
Wayne cut four sides on May 4 with Van Alexander's Orchestra but oddly, the initial coupling, for a June 1942 release, failed to include the tune for which Davis had started the company! Beacon 100 backed "Indiana Blues", a tune Davis had written with the niece of trombonist J.C. Higginbotham, Irene Higginbotham, with a ballad "This Will Be A Lonesome Summer"...
"The Watchman Fell Asleep" backed by ... "Sweetheart Serenade", originally scheduled for Beacon 101, finally went public in December 1942 on Beacon 108. ...
