Apparently, the white label with red lettering is the first one used by Jazz Man. The green labels, whose design imitates that of Crescent Records, were used between January 1947, after Nesuhi Ertegun, the founder of Crescent Records, had bought the Jazz man label from its founder, David Stuart, and 1954.(source with original label picture)

There were two versions of this label issued in the US. The green version illustrated here is one. A white label with red lettering is the other. One other distinction is that the white label bore the legend "Co-sponsored by Jazz Information", while the green version does not.
