fixbutte 5th Jan 2016		Both sides were recorded in February 1951 and apparently scheduled for release around that time, but an actual copy of King 949, although listed in many discographies, does not seem to exist, whereas this issue here attracted some attention upon its release in June 1952. "Dolly Dimple" was actually Dolly Dimples, who had made her own records before and was married to Shorty Long until his death in Oct 1991. Their "Hillbilly Wedding" may have been in 1951.
