xiphophilos 31st Oct 2015		Apparently, visitors to the Empire State Building could make one-minute recordings of themselves in coin-operated recordings booths. Graham7 30th Oct 2015		Cannot date this, but web searches suggest dates ranging from 1938 - 1951. My disc is made of steel with a lacquer coating, though it is also reported as being on an aluminum disc. Don't really hear anything on my copy, recording is very quiet, and disc very worn.
