 According to an article here, nearly everything on the Pearl label out of Cincinnati was either by, or recorded with the participation of, its founder Larry Vincent. While he is uncredited on this disc, he is likely the composer of both sides and the performer on the A-side. Apparently most of his material was blue, or vaguely blue, for instance, "I Kissed Her But (I Never Will Again)" and "I Never Leave Her Behind."
