| | All Eddie Shaw's listings for Odeon are pre-WW1, except one which lists a 1000+ series being issued mid to late 1920s decade. I do not think Shaw's listing applies to this record, especially since each side has a different number, which was a common early practice when two single sided were coupled onto a single disc, which were later given a single number (example Odeon 423). In the UK, Odeon were issued as part of the Parlophone label from 1923 and 'oddments' did appear in the Parlophone Catalogues which did not have a Parlophone-Odeon label (example). I suspect it was possibly an group of 'oddments' like that example that came to Shaw's notice. See also the labels of the OT (Odeon Argentina Tango) series in the Odeon UK listing, which were part of the Parlophone UK catalogue for many years, and which Shaw lists as Parlophone inspite of their Odeon label. |

| | I would have to see the actual entry before I could really comment on it.
I assume you mean this book, which I don't own:
SHAW, Eddie (2000). Date About All Those English 78s. Part 3. Pressed Abroad – G&T & Zonophone. London. Elaine & Eddie Shaw .
Could you upload a scan of the relevant entry?
Without that, all I can say is that the matrix numbers in the runout of this record point to these tracks being German recordings of German-language Christmas songs made in 1909-1910 in Berlin by and for Odeon, and the green Odeon label seems to fit a 1910 release date. It could well be that a British label also owned by the Lindström company reissued this record again in 1927 for export, presumably to German-speaking countries, but I am surprised to hear it should have been done with this label. |

| | According to Eddie Shaw, this shall be a record made for export from 1927.

| | I don't know when Odeon started using the green label, but the switch from these green labels to the golden temple labels happened in 1924 (source). |

| | Ah, now everything is clearer. The record may originally have been released in 1910, but the later label shows that this was a popular record that was frequently re-pressed. The "No." (Numero or Number) is not really part of the catalog number, so I removed the NO. |
