 These are carnival songs from Cologne.

"Durst ist schlimmer als Heimweh" means "Being thirsty is worse than being homesick."

"Auf einem Bein, da steht man schlecht" (On one leg one can't stand very well) probably refers to the need to have more than just one drink, simply for the sake of balance.
