xiphophilos 14th Nov 2018		Thanks for sharing the Odeon prefix and catalog number list. I've added it to our 78 rpm Useful Info list. I'm glad you also mentioned which item # in the list it was, or I would never have found it among the 1511 items in that list. I guess the fact that Odeon was a worldwide company is responsible for this maze of different numbering systems. The numbers O-4000-4128 were issued between 1927-1932, so a release date of 1927 for this particular record seems reasonable as well.

xiphophilos 13th Nov 2018		Per DAHR, this was originally a US recording made by OKeh in New York. What looks like a matrix number is the OKeh catalog number with an additional S-prefix. Not sure what the S means.
