78 RPM Record
Notes Red Perksey And His Orchestra and Chorus, vocals by Ray Dickson. This recording of 'Smiley', and also 'A Town Like Alice', made the top 10 in Australia in 1956 when released on vinyl 45s. Technically i suppose that makes them one of the first all Australian (artist, label, and recording) chart successes. Images
