Whyperion SUBS 22nd Mar 2017		CD version uses 45 or mastertape ? More echo noticable on the saxs than the 78 can manage?



Pridesale 12th Jan 2016		Noticed on the vid the very wide run out grove area, with interesting in loop groove pattern. Meanwhile the whole sound quality of this is all over the place. Used to think it was my player and the enlarged hole on my disc, but the sax appears out of sync with the others, and the volume (depth?) varies across the whole disc. Did EMI care, did Alma care, does any 45 version sound any better? Was this a morning session when the instruments were not warmed up or an afternoon one when the instrumentalists were too warmed up?
