Added first issue labels, still pointing to the label's origin in the Rainbow Music Shop in Harlem, NYC, on 125th Street, nearby the Apollo Theater. This issue lists Budd Johnson as Albert Johnson in the composer credits and nowhere in the orchestra members.

The second issue of Apollo 752, with the god's head on the label, however, shows Bud Johnson as the co-writer and as the baritone saxman of the orchestra.

Albert might be the composer's actual first name, but he went by his better-known nickname of Bud on the song credit on the label. Even there it is not quite correct, however, since he commonly used two d's in his version of Budd and the label only used one.

I have seen Hawkins many times in photos. He does have a fair resemblance to Lenin except that he was a black man and Lenin was not.

Can't help but think that the image in the video linked to by BigBadBluesMan looks like Vladimir Lenin playing the Sax! :-)
