You've got a particularly beautiful version of this record then. It would be great if you could add images of your labels. Do you have a scanner available?

My copy is Purple label with HMV lozenge background at bottom of label in black, Gold lettering and picture of King George V on one side of the Royal Coat of Arms with Queen Mary on the other side.

(VERY RARE!) King George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert of Windsor, 1865.6.3.~ 1936. 1.20 ), and his consort, Queen Mary (Victoria Mary Augusta Louise Olga Pauline Claudine Agnes, 1867.5.26. ~ 1953.3.24) read their Empire Day Messages to the Boys and Girls of the "British Empire".

This recording is said to be the first 'commercial' recording made by a British Monarch, when at the same time it is also the only surviving voice recording of Queen Mary.

Specially recorded for request by His Master's Voice in 1923, at Buckingham Palace.
