 Värmlännigarna (The People of Värmland) is a Swedish musical written in 1846. The libretto was written by F. A. Dahlgren, the music composed by Andreas Randel or adapted from traditional sources. Set in the province of Värmland, the play is a six-act melodrama revolving around a love story about a young peasant couple who, with considerable difficulty, overcome hostile parents and local convention.
