Bob Davis1 27th Dec 2019		I have a copy of this that my parents bought back in the 1940s. They had seen the Phil Harris orchestra "live" back in the 1930s. I was rather amused to find (many years later) that Mr. Harris was really from Indiana. We could do a segue from "That's What I Like About the South" to "I Wanna Go Back to Dixie" by Tom Lehrer, which dates back to the early 1950s.



fixbutte 15th Oct 2019		Seems that the label started several weeks before Billboard's "advance" information was published, see uploaded ARA ad from March 31, 1945 listing all numbers from 101 to 118 and 3001 and 4001, suggesting a March (or earlier) release date for these numbers.
